After working for several national builders, Reza Shoaee decided to follow his dreams and opened the doors to Century Custom Homes. He realized the value in combining his extensive professional experience with his own personal experiences as a home owner and buyer. This allowed him and his wife, Julie Shoaee, to tailor the home building and home buying process to fit the needs of their fellow Houstonians with quality construction and customer satisfaction in mind.
Century Custom Homes has been building luxurious homes inside Houston’s inner loop and in surrounding suburban areas since 2007.

Reza Shoaee has over 38 years of experience in commercial and residential construction and home building. He began his career with 14 years in commercial construction after receiving his engineering degree in 1982. His prior experience also includes positions at two national home builders where he served in various management positions such as Director of Construction and Land Development and Vice President of Metro Living. In 2007, Reza decided to follow his dream and opened the doors of Century Custom Homes.

Julie Shoaee has an extensive career in sales, marketing, and design. Julie has experience in new home sales with a national builder as well as market experience as a realtor. She started Century Custom Homes with Reza, using her design talent to help the company build elegant and luxurious homes. Julie serves as President, though she still puts her passion for design to good use by blending style and functionality into the design of all Century Custom Homes.

Cameron Shoaee earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University and is a licensed Professional Engineer. He is actively involved in all aspects of the company with a primary focus on construction operations and land acquisition. Before becoming part of the Century Custom Homes team, he worked in the land development division at a major Texas engineering firm where he played an integral role in the design of residential communities and commercial developments.

Nina Wohlwend brings years of business experience to Century Custom Homes. A University of Houston graduate majoring in Supply Chain Management and minoring in Marketing Research she spent four years in the corporate sector, focusing on financial operations and strategic growth. Using the knowledge from 10+ years in the industry, she assists maintaining and growing the family business. As a native Houstonian, she is committed to contributing to the economic growth of the communities she grew up in.
